Docktrdave Audio Inc is a Design-Build company and takes responsibility for all aspects of the installation project including:
- liason with the customer
- research before design regarding the requirements of the venue and local organizations
- system design in collaboration with the customer
- drawings - construction and acoustic prediction
- ordering and installing system hardware as per design
- tuning and optimization of system using state of the art acoustic measurement techniques
- system documentation
- training and orientation of system operators
- ongoing support of project after completion - further training, tuning and hardware adjustments, software updates, etc
Theaters can be especially challenging as they are really several "rooms" in one venue. i.e. Each area of the venue - orchestra seating, balconies, mezzanine, underbalcony areas, and areas near sidewalls have different acoustic properties and ultimately affect each other.
Careful multi-zonal system design coupled with acoustic measurement during the tuning process ensures superior results. We have participated in international theater concert tours since 1981 and have experienced countless venues.
