About Us

GOALS AND PHILOSOPHY 

We design audio systems with the end result in mind at all times. More specifically, our goal is for the system in your venue to be a seamless part of the art being produced. 

Our years of experience with live performance audio have given us a unique outlook on sound system design. As active music mixing engineers ourselves, we appreciate that there are both art and science aspects of live performance sound reinforcement. We will dedicate ourselves to your vision of the venue and its intended uses. With that preparation, and our experience, we will design, install and tune audio systems that best reflects your needs.

Our representation will accompany the project from initial design through construction and installation. Then, we will optimize (tune and integrate) the audio systems to achieve peak performance. Further, we will work with the house personnel through the opening shows to fine tune the systems with the audience present. We will remain available for ongoing support and consultation for operational concerns.

AUDIO FIDELITY

  • Provide consistent frequency response and SPL to every seat in each venue. 

  • Provide high values of intelligibility to every seat in each venue. 

  • Provide audible system bandwidth to 30hz – 18khz.

  • Provide a wide stereo image to enhance the performance drama.

AESTHETICS

   • Whenever possible, speaker components will be installed behind venue

      architectural components. 

   • Systems will not incorporate center clusters in front of the proscenium.

   • Audio speaker components may be color matched to surrounding architecture.

   • Provide clear site lines to the state.

MECHANICAL

  • Provide audio systems with minimized manpower necessary for set-up and

     tear down.

  • Minimize storage space needed for speaker arrays and other audio equipment.

  • Provide accurately repeatable system configurations, and software presets for all    

     uses of the performance hall including, but not limited to:
           * Lectures            * Broadway          * Ballet
           * Pop Music          * Symphony         * Opera
           * Rock and Roll     * Paging              * Public Address

ADMINISTRATION

  • House audio system(s) can be used for any and all show styles.

  • Increase rental revenue potential by providing professional audio systems

     in sync with touring acts technical riders.

  • Life of system ≥ 10 years.

EDUCATION

  • In house training of operations:
        * Repeatable setup         * System software management
        * Safety issues               * Intro to acoustic room measurement
        * Address all concerns of house personnel and regular performance companies.
